Yangzhou Qunfa Photonics Technology Co., Ltd. was established on November 25, 2021, and is located at No. 21, Muyang Road, Yangzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. It is mainly engaged in the design, simulation, manufacturing, testing and sales of all-solid-state OPA silicon photonics chips. The company aims to develop and mass-produce on a large scale all-solid-state OPA silicon photonics chips that are highly integrated, multi-wavelength tunable and wide-angle scanning. Such chips can be fully integrated on silicon substrates and are expected to significantly reduce the cost of existing lidar. 

After years of research, the company has mastered a new optical phased array technology scheme. It realizes the modulation of the direction of the laser beam by tuning the wavelength of the incident laser, which overcomes the problems of traditional optical phase-shifting units such as high modulation voltage, high power consumption and slow response speed. This has improved the product's integration level and stability, significantly reduced costs, and achieved a technological breakthrough in all-solid-state OPA silicon photonics chips.

● The silicon photonics production line was successfully put into operation, and the OPA silicon photonics chip has achieved initial mass production

●  Products were continuously optimized and gradually participated in industry exhibitions such as EAC and CIOE ● Gained attention from leaders including the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the Governor at the Jiangsu Provincial Industry-University-Research Conference

● The 2D OPA chip has met all design specifications and successfully achieved imaging through "Y"-"Z" scanning. ● The OPA chip evaluation was successfully held – the technical level is internationally leading, and some technologies are internationally advanced ● The local government strongly supported the project development – groundbreaking ceremony for the silicon photonics pilot line was held ● Jinjian Wang, Secretary of Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee, conducted multiple investigations on the progress of the OPA project
