Yangzhou Deputy Mayor Luo Xue Ming led a team to investigate the silicon-based optical production of Qunfa Company

On July 14, Luo Xue Ming, the Deputy Mayor of Yangzhou, led a team to visit the silicon photonics production line of Yangzhou Qunfa Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. to understand the operation of the production line and the progress of industrialization. The chairman of Qunfa Company accompanied the visit throughout.

During the investigation, Deputy Mayor Luo focused on the mass production schedule of the silicon photonics production line. Jiang Dacheng, the director of production technology and operation of Qunfa Company, introduced the current mass production progress, explaining the production status and technological characteristics of each station. In addition to the production areas already in use, the silicon photonics production line also reserves areas for contract manufacturing, and is currently communicating with relevant leading domestic enterprises to promote cooperation.

Deputy Mayor Luo emphasized that the municipal government has always attached great importance to the development of Qunfa Company's OPA project. After the production line achieves large-scale mass production, they will come to inspect again, hoping that the industrialization process will steadily progress. Qunfa Company will also live up to expectations, accelerate the pace of product market introduction, and contribute to the high-quality development of Yangzhou's silicon photonics industry and the creation of an industrial science and technology city.
The leaders in charge of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, and Yan Wei, the Party Committee Secretary of Yangzhou High-tech Zone, accompanied the visit.
