ZTE President Xu Ziyang visited Qunfa Optical to exchange and provide guidance

On the morning of December 17, ZTE Corporation Executive Director and President Xu Ziyang and ZTE Optoelectronics Technology Expert Zhang Qi, accompanied by District Mayor Wang Qingwei, visited Yangzhou Qunfa Optical Core for exchanges and guidance.
ZTE Optoelectronics technical expert Zhang Qi introduced some product requirements and gained an in-depth understanding of the service capabilities and unique silicon photonics processes of the Qunfa Silicon Photonics pilot line. He also held an online discussion with Professor Yi Yasha on the current status of optical communication technology and OPA products.
QUNFA Optical Photonics Chairman Zhuang Shaolou introduced the government's strong support for the QUNFA OPA project. The company is the first in China to integrate silicon photonics simulation design, process tapeout, packaging and testing, and market sales. He also discussed the company's current status and future operational plans in detail.
President Xu stated: "There's absolutely no problem with the direction of silicon photonics; the key lies in matching and synergy. Group silicon photonics technology must align with ZTE's optical communications needs, address existing challenges, and bring about new development breakthroughs."
The two sides communicated candidly, fully understanding each other's needs, and reached a consensus on further deepening cooperation, clarifying the direction for future work.
